About Us

The Fall Craft Show was started to bring back a community event to the Schriever area while raising money to help fund the fire department's scholarship fund. The Dale A. Guidry Memorial Scholarship was started many years ago by Mrs. Guidry after Mr. Dale's passing. Mr. Dale was a dedicated member of our fire department. Mrs. Guidry funded the scholarship until a few years ago when the department took over fully funding the program. Education is important, and we want to make sure our scholarship recipients are able to continue their education with a little less financial burden. And with your continued support, we are able to grow our fund to not only help current recipients, but accommodate more into the program.
